Matthew NicholsFounder and OwnerIn April 2018, Matthew began constructing Sojourner's first mobile coffee cart. As an English Language and Literature major from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, Matthew's broad view of labor economics and Renaissance attitude toward the food and beverage industry offers Sojourner an edge over potential competitors as well as diverse approach to Milwaukee's super saturated coffee community. His increasing experience in coffee language, consumption and production promises to keep Sojourner flourishing for many years to come.

Samuel IsaacsonExecutive DirectorSamuel is a 2016 graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, with a degree in Information Systems. He first encountered Sojourner during the preliminary stages of their retail development project. Since then, Samuel has been the key component in standardizing operations at Sojourner as well as marketing Sojourner's services in the increasingly competitive catering industry. He is currently a lead recruiter at Sojourner and acting manager at the Sojourner training café.

Christian KaiserAssistant DirectorChrisitan Kaiser, native of Giesen, Germany, came to the US in 2018 for his masters in business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He first came into contact with Sojourner in the fall of that year after passing one of their Mobile carts on the campus carriage way. He provides general business insight to the team, offering innovative solutions as well as establishing key partnerships. With his experience in coffee production and barista training, he provides Sojourner with an attuned lens to the ever fluctuating and expanding coffee market

Sachin DavisChief Information ManagerAs an Electrical Engineering graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Sachin Davis employs his experience in web development and business analytics on the technological side of Sojourner’s marketing platforms. Through these means he is able to ensure the execution of a number of Sojourner’s primary business goals and strategies, as well as build a bridge between the highly demanding mobile marketplace and the food and beverage sector. He is currently heading the Sojourner mobile app and website development.
